Assignment Proposal

1.    Which is your preferred option?
Either number 2 or number 3
2.    Why is it your preferred option?
Because I am interested in this area of animation and working with community groups in the future to help promote the work that they do.
3.    If you select option 1…
4.    If you select option 2 you must also outline how you imagine your development work in practices and specialism could be incorporated into the studio project?
Even though my work up to now has felt like ‘work in progress’, I would like to be involved in the animation side of the project and telling the story of the positive and fun activities the group enables the young people to have.
I have been researching the use of metaphor and insects to tell a story and would like to incorporate this somehow into the studio project.
I know I have to develop my skills but I think there is enough time to do this and I can do this with good planning and preparation.
The other area I am interested in is the sound aspect and would possibly like to explore this for the project. I would be happy to go and record more interviews and work with the young people to incorporate their own drawings.
