Awesome 1978 movie made by MGM. The Water Babies starts off as a film and when Tom jumps into the river he and his dog Toby turn into animation. I have been looking into the transitions of film to animation because this is what I will be doing in my major project. The transition goes from live footage into rotoscope and then finally into animation. I think it works really well.
